Food is good and moderately priced.

I came here with few friends Sunday the 9th and all I can say is WOW!!! I never knew this place existed! I got a New York steak rare and not only was it spot on rare but it was seasoned perfectly, best steak I've had. Waitresses name was Linda, she was extremely nice. Friends all enjoyed food, they even have good pasta. Definitely recommend.

Food was great. Service was not. Waitress was very short and not friendly. Didn't seem to want to be there or doesn't like her job.

Meal was delicious and for a steak dinner, it was a good value for the money.

Nice place. I only went there because I had some Canadian Money left over and I did not want to exchange it. Food was outstanding. Staff was friendly. They were a little to into closing the place, but I was taking care of. I will remember this place if I am ever again in Canada and has some extra Canadian money. No disrespect intended but I would not cross the border for the experience.

Food was very good. I had liver and onions and it was tasty and you could cut it with a fork.

Went to this place this morning at 9am for breakfast. The "open" signs were out and the website says Sat open at 9am, but doors were locked, with several other people waiting outside. No business hours were posted. Finally called, and the answering machine said open at TEN on Sat (who opens for breakfast at 10 on the weekend???). Went down the road to B&B Tap and Grill, which was open and had delicious food. Also, my Dad called the Open Grill recently, and was told they were "too busy" to talk to him and to call back later😡

Marie treated us like we were her only customers. She was quick to serve yet backed off and gave us time to really review the menue. Everything but malt vinager. The specials daily sounds like they truly do Change every day. The three of us ate very well n two of us got doggy bags. Eat here and enjoy. This place has really good steak. It's hard to find a good steak, but the Open Grill has it. I was really impressed by the food and service was great too! Nice lighting with lots o windows and a great salad bar like the Chipican used to have! A-1

An overall AVERAGE dining experience. Aside from one (daytime) waitress, the others are phony, rushed++ and non-engaging...which spoils the dining out atmosphere. If you get the tall slim blonde, you're SOL for proper service, as noted by others in reviews.Food is Good- not excellent. The days of genuine customer service in a rest't like Open Grill are far over.Thats unfortunate.

Lovely nook for a DELICIOUS meal. Salad bar had a good selection . Waitress very friendly and helpful. Little dearer than we usually like to pay. But it was worth it for a special night out.

Our dinner was great, it had a tremendous steak flavor! The 4 stars are because we were passed to 3 servers and someone dropped the ball on bringing us bread. I would certainly recommend you try this Steak House!

Enjoyed the 14oz bone in Rib eye. Cooked to medium rare perfection. They were kind enough to whip up a hollandaise sauce as I'm a fan of bearnaise sauce .Mashed potatoes and baby carrots The salad bar . Kind server, great atmosphere. I'll be back

A very nice sit down dinner. One of my typical complaints is small portions of the sides, but the servings are large. Steak was rare of medium rare, but you can always ask it to be put back on the grill. You can't undo overcooked lol. The steak was tender and tasty. As good as the Keg, and better quality (and value) than anywhere else presently in and around Sarnia.

Good meal , waitress went out of her way to ensure a wonderfull dining experiance and was very friendly .I like the open grill for their steak and burgers . And salad bar The wife likes the seafood.

Steak tasted good but was very fatty! Salad bar had nothing in it almost empty! The salad that was in the bar was brown. Service was good. Not the steak house it once was! Very sad! Once was the best steak in town. Not anymore! Needs a chief and management change and could be the best again!

Had a fabulous party in the private room for 27 guests. Jim was extremely helpful in planning a customized menu. Anne served us with her usual friendly and fun professionalism and the food was absolutely awesome. Guests enjoyed prime rib, shrimp, steak, chicken etc. and a delicious trip to the fresh salad bar. I highly recommend the open grill for any event. They made it so easy.

Stopped in for Sunday breakfast. Very nice eggs and sausage. Saw a nice steak and eggs cooked to perfection.

Good food, reasonable prices, look for the weekly deals. And the salad bar is basic but fresh and tasty.

Very enjoyable for our 60th wedding anniversary. The whole experience was delightful. The venue was great the food excellent and our server was fantastic Thank you to all and we will be back. Anne & Julius Van Den Bossche. (Feb 22/2020)

Excellent! We had clubhouses that had a lot of bacon and fresh chicken breasts!

I celebrated my birthday yesterday in this gorgeous place. happy to tell that we enjoyed a sensational evening and the venue was evidently the reason for the happy event. The waiters collaborated in a pleasant way, the meals were tasty and my buddies were so glad. We shall surely return for more events. Thank you very much.

Service was pushy. Gave me the wrong order. Then gave me half my order was still wrong. My daughter got food poisoning there and when I called the manager never called me back. I will Never go back there anymore.

Food was very tasty. As the restaurant filled up and the grill was going, it was so smoky in there my eyes were burning. I mentioned it to waitress and she put a fan on.

Staff are not dressed for a steak house. TV power chords are lazily hanging awkwardly and long mats. Menus are cheaply presented. Haven't eaten yet and menu price is the same as the keg. Hopefully food is better than the presentation.

Delicious and great service; for a romantic dinner

This restaurant serves excellent Prime Rib has a good salad bar that is included with your meal. If you prefer soup of the day in place of the salad bar there is no extra charge. Rolls & bread sticks are served at the table also. The atmosphere is nice it's not too loud & the lighting is good. They serve a variety of items, a good selection for seniors and they accomodate large groups. We enjoy going here when we are looking for a quiet enjoyable meal that is fair in price & good size portion.
